Many celebrities have promoted different cryptocurrencies. Floyd Mayweather, Steven Seagal, Paris Hilton, Richard Branson … this list is huge. However, some of celebs have participated in scam project, while others really made a great contribution to the development of the crypto market.
Gwyneth Paltrow decided not to stay away from the mainstream. She promoted the article by Bill Barhydt, an exchange operator of Abra (all-in-one cryptocurrency wallet and exchange application). This article was posted on Gwyneth’s website called Goop (links to this website are placed in her social networks pages). Here’s what she posted on her Twitter page:
The reposted article is called “The Basics of Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency—and How to Invest”. In it, the author gives answers to frequently asked questions like “what is Bitcoin”, “how does cryptocurrency have value”, “how to invest in crypto” and so on.
However, the grounds behind the article are obvious – Bill wanted to promote his platform. This is not a bad thing as the platform is user-friendly and beginner-focused. In addition, this article makes contribution to cryptocurrency promotion in general.
