Ash Crypto Net Worth 2026: Bio, Track Record and Allegations
Ash Crypto (@AshCrypto) has 2.1 million X followers. We check his bio, the net worth claims, his public market calls and the May 2026 ZachXBT allegations.
Altcoin Daily is run by twin brothers Aaron and Austin Arnold. We check their bio, the $5M net worth claim, their income streams and five dated market calls.

Altcoin Daily is a US crypto news channel run by twin brothers Aaron and Austin Arnold, with 1.65 million YouTube subscribers and 3,938 videos as of 28 October 2026 (vidIQ). No audited or self-reported figure for their net worth exists. The $5 million number that circulates online comes from an unsourced 2023 aggregator profile. What the record does show is the income structure: ad revenue, exchange sponsors and at least one paid on-chain campaign worth $110,000.
Track record transparency
3.1/5
3.1Public, dated video archive. Few calls have price levels, and no self-published results log exists.
Our assessment
Altcoin Daily has published dated, public calls on video since 2018, so its record is open to checking. The calls rarely carry price targets or deadlines, the channel keeps no scorecard of its own, and sponsor ties sit next to market commentary.
What stands out
What holds it back
At a glance
The brothers did not start in finance. According to a Cointelegraph interview published on 17 February 2023, Aaron wanted to be a veterinarian as a child, then an actor, then a filmmaker. Film is what took both of them to Los Angeles. The entertainment industry did not open its doors.
Crypto came in sideways. At a comedy show Aaron met an Uber driver who said he had made close to three times his money on Filecoin, and that conversation pushed him into trading. A year later he launched Altcoin Daily alone. Austin joined once the channel reached 1,000 subscribers.
YouTube records the channel's creation date as 29 January 2018 (vidIQ). The brothers' own Polkadot treasury filing says "since Feb 2018". CreatorDB claims content since 2016, but we found nothing to support that date. IQ.wiki describes Austin as the primary on-camera host and Aaron as the one who focuses on research and production. Both appear on camera, and outlets quote calls from each of them.
The channel's stated philosophy sits in its YouTube description: use altcoins to stack more Bitcoin. Cointelegraph reports that the brothers have won "Influencer of the Year" and "Best Crypto YouTube News Channel" titles, without naming the years or the organizers.
The figure that search results repeat is $5 million "as of 2023", from Coinweb. The same profile says 93.3% of the assets are in crypto, mostly Bitcoin and Ethereum. It cites no filing, interview or wallet. In our interpretation, the number is a guess dressed up as data. The brothers have not published a net worth figure, and we found no tax filing, court record or disclosed wallet that would let anyone build one.
Income is a different matter. Three revenue lines are documented.
vidIQ estimates the channel's monthly ad revenue at $17,715 as of 28 October 2026, or $193 per video at the current upload rate. These are modeled estimates built on view counts and assumed CPMs, not payouts from Google. The trend behind them is weak. CryptoSlate reported on 1 July 2026 that crypto YouTube views had collapsed, and vidIQ shows zero net subscriber growth over the last 30 days.
According to CreatorDB, the channel's YouTube sponsors as of mid-2026 included Binance.US, Bitget, Bitunix, Weex and Kalshi. CreatorDB does not publish the rates. For a Canadian viewer the list has a practical edge. Bitget's terms exclude Canada, and Binance.US serves only US residents, so part of the sponsored inventory advertises platforms that a viewer in Toronto or Vancouver cannot open an account on.
The clearest price tag is on-chain. Polkadot Referendum 255, filed by Altcoin Daily from its verified X account, asked the Polkadot treasury for $110,000, paid as 21,219.12 DOT at $5.184. In return the channel would deliver three videos within six weeks: an explainer on Polkadot, a top-five parachains video and a Nova Wallet tutorial. The proposal's description puts the work at $100,000 plus a 10% agency fee. The referendum passed and was executed. One commenter on the proposal called the amount "far above your normal rate". Nothing on the page says what that normal rate is.
Altcoin Daily publishes calls in two forms: ranked coin lists and Bitcoin scenarios. The table below covers calls that third-party outlets recorded with a date. Outcomes come from CoinGecko price history unless noted.
| Date | Call | What happened |
|---|---|---|
| 10 Jan 2021 | Austin named Ethereum, Cardano, Polkadot and Aave among his 2021 picks (The Daily Hodl) | All four closed 2021 above their 1 January 2021 prices |
| 21 Oct 2021 | Austin listed Cardano, Polkadot, Chainlink and three more as set to "explode" in 2022 (The Daily Hodl) | All three named coins closed 2022 below their 1 January 2022 prices, after the Terra and FTX collapses |
| Jun 2022 | Aaron said that in a worst-case scenario Bitcoin breaks to all-time highs in 2025 (Kitco) | Bitcoin set new all-time highs in March 2024 and again in October 2025 |
| 22 Dec 2025 | An Altcoin Daily host outlined a bear case: a rebound toward $110,000, then a drop to $60,000-65,000, and $56,000 by end of 2026 if the four-year cycle holds (Coinpedia) | Bitcoin fell below $60,000 on 5 June 2026 (CCPress). The rebound to $110,000 did not come first |
| 1 Jan 2026 | Austin's six picks for 2026: Ethereum, Solana, Cardano, Bittensor, Ondo and Propy (NewsBTC) | Year still open. No price levels were given, so the call cannot be scored |
Surprisingly, the scenario calls held up better than the coin lists. The 2025 all-time-high call and the 2026 bear range both landed. The 2021 lists rode a market in which large caps rose. The October 2021 list for 2022 ran straight into a bear market.
The deeper limit is structure. A list says "set to explode" without an entry price, a target or a deadline. That is hard to falsify. It also cannot be audited after the fact, and the channel does not publish a scorecard of its own picks. This is why our transparency score stays in the middle of the scale despite the open archive.
Three episodes come up in coverage of the channel. None of them involved a regulator or a court.
On 31 July 2020 the brothers announced that YouTube had removed the channel for "encouraging illegal activities", according to ForkLog. YouTube support told them to wait for the appeal result and gave no detail. The channel was back on 3 August 2020. Crypto creators read the case as a moderation algorithm misfiring, and YouTube did not publish a reason for either the removal or the reinstatement.
In April 2022 investigator ZachXBT posted a list of 44 YouTube crypto personalities with their alleged promotion rates. CNBC reported that the list showed up to $65,000 for a single video and that part of the named influencers called the prices inflated. TechStory reported that Altcoin Daily appeared on the list at $65,000. We were unable to verify the original spreadsheet, and we found no public response from the brothers to that figure. A rate on a leaked sheet shows what a marketing agency claimed to charge. It does not show that a specific undisclosed promotion took place.
Coinweb and Coinlaunch state that Altcoin Daily drew criticism for promoting Terra and Worldcoin without explaining their condition. Neither page links to the videos or to the criticism itself. Absent those, we treat the claim as unverified.
Large crypto channels attract clones that run fake giveaways and "double your crypto" livestreams. The official accounts share these features as of 3 November 2026:
A livestream that asks viewers to send coins to a wallet address for a bonus does not match anything the channel has run under its verified handles.
