Crypto Rover Net Worth and Bio 2026: Who Is Daan de Rover?
Crypto Rover (Daan de Rover): verified bio, UK filings, 1.6M X followers, price calls vs outcomes, ZachXBT allegations and the $6M net worth claim.
Ash Crypto (@AshCrypto) has 2.1 million X followers. We check his bio, the net worth claims, his public market calls and the May 2026 ZachXBT allegations.

Ash Crypto is the pseudonymous operator of @AshCrypto, an X account with more than 2.1 million followers that posts Bitcoin and altcoin market commentary, news and memes (Bitcoin.com News, May 2026). His real name, background and net worth are not publicly documented, and every dollar figure for his wealth that circulates online traces back to unsourced aggregator pages. What is documented is a set of dated public market calls, a portfolio of angel investments, and an unanswered allegation by on-chain investigator ZachXBT that he ran pump-and-dump schemes through a paid WhatsApp channel.

Our assessment
Ash Crypto publishes dated, public market calls, which makes part of his record checkable. The calls rely on hedges, his paid channel is closed to outside review, and the May 2026 pump-and-dump allegations remain unanswered.
What stands out
What holds it back
At a glance
The account describes itself as a source of "News, Memes, Charts, Hopium, Market analysis" and links to an official Telegram channel. Its Facebook page, with 1,541,689 followers in November 2026, lists Dubai as the location. Crunchbase gives the same city for his investor profile.
The handle changed. Older coverage and the Facebook page URL use @Ashcryptoreal. Posts from February 2026 onward appear under @AshCrypto, with the same bio text.
Beyond that, the biography is thin. No interview, filing or company record we found ties the persona to a named individual. Third-party profiles disagree on when he started trading. Favikon says 2006, CoinLaunch says 2007, SoSoValue says 2014, CoinGape says 2015. None of them cites a source.
There is no reliable, dated estimate of Ash Crypto's net worth. Search results offer $50 million on one page and $500 million on another, with no filings, disclosures or wallet data behind either figure. Traders Union, a broker review site, states plainly that no reliable information exists. Surprisingly, the same Traders Union profile lists him as founder and CEO of Apple Inc., with years of life given as 1970 to 2011. The template was never cleaned up. That tells the reader how much weight these aggregator pages deserve.
The one net worth figure from Ash Crypto himself was a joke. In June 2024 he posted that he had reached $10 million in crypto, then thanked his father for sending him $10.7 million the day before.
The verifiable part is his venture activity. Three databases track it:
None of these sources discloses ticket sizes. An angel stake in a token project ends up worth millions or close to nothing, and the databases do not say which.
Ash Crypto posts specific price levels with timestamps, which allows a partial audit. The table covers his 2026 Bitcoin calls that name a testable outcome.
| Date | Call (paraphrased) | What happened |
|---|---|---|
| 6 Apr 2026 | BTC is breaking a 3-month downtrend. $8.2 billion in shorts liquidate if BTC reaches $74,000. A rally follows if a US-Iran ceasefire is confirmed. | A ceasefire was announced on 7 April. BTC crossed $74,000 on 14 April and hit $79,214 on 22 April (Bitcoin.com News). |
| 23 Apr 2026 | The $60,000 low of 6 February was "probably" the cycle bottom, based on a 23-month pattern. | BTC fell to $59,909 on 5 June and $59,023 on 24 June, below the February low (Newsbytes, CCPress). |
| 5 Jul 2026 | Bears calling $30,000 to $40,000 for 2026 were wrong three times before and "maybe" will be again. | BTC traded at $77,700 on 1 November 2026 (CF Benchmarks). The call stays open until 31 December. |
One hit, one miss, one pending. The sample is small, and that is the problem. Each call carries a hedge, "probably", "maybe", "if confirmed", which makes it hard to mark wrong. In our interpretation, this is the format of commentary rather than of a trading record. A trader who wanted to be audited would publish entries, exits and sizes. Ash Crypto does not, and the calls paying subscribers value sit in a closed channel.
On 4 May 2026 on-chain investigator ZachXBT published screenshots and transaction records that, he said, showed Ash Crypto running a pump-and-dump involving ROYA, the token of lending platform Royale Finance (Bitcoin.com News, GNCrypto). The sequence he described runs in three steps:
ZachXBT also alleged that ROYA was not a one-off and that similar schemes ran on other illiquid altcoins listed on centralized exchanges. He did not name those tokens in the coverage we reviewed.
If the allegations are accurate, the pattern is a familiar one. A thin order book, a public call, then selling into the demand the call creates. What sets this case apart is the source of the evidence ZachXBT cited: the paid channel itself, the place followers pay to join because it is meant to sit closer to his real positions. None of it has been tested by a court, a regulator or an exchange.
Ash Crypto did not respond to requests for comment from the outlets that covered the case. As of 2 November 2026 we found no statement from him, and no action by an exchange or regulator tied to the ROYA claims. Ash Crypto has not been charged with any offence, and no authority has found wrongdoing. The allegations remain allegations. They also remain unanswered, six months on.
Accounts with seven-figure audiences attract impersonators, and Ash Crypto's name has extra collisions. Before trusting a post, a DM or a giveaway, check these points:
