3.7Crypto Rover (Daan de Rover): verified bio, UK filings, 1.6M X followers, price calls vs outcomes, ZachXBT allegations and the $6M net worth claim.

Crypto Rover is the online name of Daan de Rover, a crypto commentator whose YouTube channel is registered in the Netherlands and whose X account reached 1.6 million followers by September 2026 (The Crypto Basic). No audited figure for his net worth exists. The $6 million estimate repeated across search results comes from a Traders Union profile that publishes no method. His record combines fast audience growth, a paid trading-tools business, Bitcoin targets with mixed outcomes and on-chain allegations from investigator ZachXBT that he has not publicly answered.

2.3Calls are public, but deadlines are often missing and no verified trade history or bot performance exists.
Our assessment
Crypto Rover posts a high volume of timestamped calls, so his record is checkable after the fact. He publishes no audited trading results. The 2024 on-chain allegations over his promotions remain unanswered.
What stands out
What holds it back
At a glance
The firmest identity record is a UK registry entry. Companies House lists Daan de Rover, born January 2001, as a designated member of CRYPTO ROVER LLP (OC438268) from 9 July 2021, with the United Arab Emirates as his country of residence. The partnership was dissolved on 3 January 2023.
Profile sites add details that no primary record confirms:
The career timeline is clearer. vidIQ data shows the main YouTube channel opened on 3 January 2021, and IQ.wiki dates the @rovercrc X account to the same month. Content is short-term Bitcoin analysis with urgent titles and watermarked charts. His X bio says posts are not financial advice.
| Date | X followers | YouTube subscribers | Source |

| June 2024 | 677,000 | 125,000 | BeInCrypto |
| February 2025 | n/a | 179,000 | vidIQ |
| July 2025 | 1 million+ | n/a | CryptoSlate |

Traders Union gives $6 million as of 2026. It cites no balance sheet, no interview and no wallet analysis. We do not repeat figures we cannot trace, and nothing else in the public record supports that number or any other.
What the record does show is how the business earns. Five revenue lines are documented, none with disclosed amounts:
The YouTube line is weaker than his reach suggests. Across six large crypto channels, 30-day views fell 26.9% to 78.7% against January 2025, per CryptoRank. Affiliate payouts are private.
Then there are the alleged trading profits. ZachXBT tied 40 ETH in token sales to wallets he attributes to Rover. A 2026 community investigation claimed $22,500 from two Solana meme tokens. None of it is verified by a court. And a wallet sale says nothing on what a person holds today, so any total stays a guess.
LinkedIn snippets name him CryptoSea co-founder and CEO. We found no company registration confirming it. A second UK partnership, SDC CAPITAL LLP (OC445435), was registered on 19 January 2023 at the same correspondence address as Crypto Rover LLP. Its Companies House page shows an active strike-off proposal and a confirmation statement overdue since 1 February 2026.
De Rover's calls lean bullish, and the older ones often carry no deadline. The table lists calls with a public date and a checkable outcome.
| Date of call | Statement | What happened |
|---|---|---|
| 17 Feb 2025 | BTC to $120,000 once it breaks $102,000 (BTC at $98,500) | BTC crossed $120,000 in July 2025. Met, no deadline given |
| 17 Feb 2025 | New BTC all-time high by March, based on seasonality | Missed. The next record came in May 2025 |
| Oct 2025 | BTC to $150,000, ETH to $10,000 | Unreached. BTC peaked at $126,080 that month and traded at $63,129 in mid-2026 (Coinpedia) |
| Sep 2026 | 12-18 months: BTC $135,000-$190,000, XRP $3.20-$4.80 (XRP at $1.51) | Open until March 2028 |
| 19 Oct 2026 | 8-16 months: BTC $200,000, ETH above $10,000, SOL $1,000, XRP $5 (BTC at $81,500) | Open until February 2028 |
The newest Bitcoin target implies a 145% rise from the price at the time of the post. Ethereum would need more than 300% from $2,430.
The 2.3 score reflects the gap between public calls and private results. Calls are dated. But he publishes no record of his own positions, no audited VIP copy-trading results and no CryptoSea bot history, so followers have no way to see how the trades behind the calls went.
On 19 February 2024 ZachXBT, the on-chain investigator whose work has been cited in law-enforcement cases, posted a thread against Crypto Rover. X added a Community Note to Rover's posts within two days.
The claims, as reported by BeInCrypto and CryptoSlate:
He reportedly deleted his Telegram channel afterward. We found no public reply.
It did not go away. In July 2025 Grok, X's chatbot, refused to pick a winner in his $1,000 Ethereum giveaway and pointed to those findings. In March 2026 on-chain users alleged a repeat pattern with $OILLESS and $USELESS on Solana. A token launches, Rover quote-posts a botted account, wallets sell into the spike. Next day, again.
All of this is alleged. No regulator action, lawsuit or ruling against him turned up in the Netherlands, the UK, the UAE or the US as of 1 November 2026. Specific, on-chain, unanswered.
