Hyperliquid (HYPE) Price Prediction 2026, 2027 and 2030

HYPE price prediction from five published forecasts: bear, base and bull cases for 2026, 2027 and 2030, set against $84.67 on 4 November 2026 and buybacks.

Hyperliquid trading platform homepage showing market statistics and graphics

HYPE traded at $84.67 on 4 November 2026 (CoinDesk), 14% below its 23 September record of $97.96 and nearly three times its price of below $30 a year earlier. Five forecasts published between July and November 2026 put the median 2027 average at $75 and the median 2030 average at $125. Three of those five models were set before the September rally, so the 2026 and 2027 base cases sit below today's price, while the 2030 base case sits 48% above it.

Where HYPE stands in November 2026

HYPE is the native token of Hyperliquid, an on-chain perpetual futures exchange running on its own layer 1. Its market data as of late October and early November 2026:

The past 12 months had four turning points:

  1. November 2025. Monthly team unlocks began. Team members sold more than 609,000 HYPE over the counter, and the price fell 17% to below $30.
  2. January and February 2026. HYPE bottomed near $21 at the start of the year and traded at $30.74 on 13 February.
  3. May 2026. US spot HYPE ETFs launched, with Bitwise among the first issuers. HYPE broke its September 2025 record of $58.50 and passed $62, with a record $25.5 million single-day ETF inflow.
  4. September 2026. The rally peaked at $97.96. Validators had approved a second buyback stream, funded by USDC reserve yield, in June 2026.

The bear case: unlocks outrun buybacks

The bear figures come from the low ends of published ranges. Median: $32 for 2026, $35 for 2027, $75 for 2030.

That 2026 figure implies a 62% drop in eight weeks. It reflects how far apart forecasters set their floors, not a measured probability. Coinpedia and StealthEx put 2026 lows at $25 and $19.30. CoinStats, updated in October, put its low at $68.

Conditions that lead toward the bear case:

  • Revenue decline. Buybacks fell from $316.8 million in Q3 2025 to $192.3 million in Q1 2026, a 40% drop as trading activity cooled (KuCoin News).
  • Contributor selling. Team unlocks continue through October 2027. In September 2026 Hyperliquid Labs unstaked 3.75 million HYPE and sold the batch OTC to one buyer, per BeInCrypto as cited by Bitrue.
  • Regulatory stall. A Democratic Congress after the 3 November midterms puts the CLARITY Act on hold, which weighs on US crypto risk appetite.

Signals that the market is moving this way: weekly HYPE ETF outflows, 30-day protocol revenue falling below the Q1 2026 pace, and a daily close below $60, the failure level CoinStats cited in September.

The base case: fees keep pace with supply

The base figures are the median of the five forecasts' averages: $61 for 2026, $75 for 2027, $125 for 2030.

Here the arithmetic is unflattering for the short term. The 2026 and 2027 base cases sit 28% and 11% below the 4 November price. Two of the five averages were published at lower prices: DappRadar's on 4 August at $55.32, and crypto.news's on 29 July. Only CoinStats, at $87, sets a 2026 average above the current price.

If buybacks hold at the Q1 2026 run rate and the new USDC yield stream adds the $135-160 million a year that analysts estimated (CoinGabbar), the base case assumes a supply-neutral market. Burns absorb the bulk of new unlocks, and the price follows broader crypto. If that holds, the 2030 base case of $125 places HYPE's circulating market cap near $27.8 billion at today's supply.

Signals for the base case: quarterly buybacks in the $190-320 million range, ETF flows near flat, and HYPE trading between $60 and $100 into 2027.

The bull case: revenue returns to its 2025 peak

The bull figures are the median of the forecast highs: $98 for 2026, $118 for 2027, $273 for 2030.

The reference case here came from Arthur Hayes. In March 2026, his firm Maelstrom named HYPE its largest altcoin position, and Hayes set a $150 target for August 2026. His math required 30-day annualized revenue of $1.4 billion, a level Hyperliquid reached in August 2025, plus a re-rating from 12x to 25x earnings. August passed. HYPE topped out at $97.96.

So the bull case is not a fantasy. It is a revenue question. Hyperliquid's annualized revenue ran between $843 million and $1.3 billion in early 2026, depending on the window (BlockEden). Back at the top of that band, with 97% of fees routed to buybacks and the USDC yield on top, the 2030 high of $273 needs a market cap near $61 billion on current supply.

Signals for the bull case: open interest above the $10 billion mark it neared in May 2026, monthly revenue above $108 million (the monthly equivalent of $1.3 billion a year), and new ETF inflow records.

For crypto.news we used its scenario section and took the midpoint of the base range as the average. The page publishes two other sets of figures that conflict with it. Coinpedia's header lists a current price of $24.77 that does not match its own text. We used its table, which the page dates to 4 November.

Methodology

Base equals the median of the averages. Bear equals the median of the lows. Bull equals the median of the highs. Every source published a range except DappRadar, whose single figure counts only toward the base case.

We excluded three inputs:

  • Arthur Hayes, 126x by 2028. Presented in Tokyo in August 2025, it implied $5,670 per token. It falls outside the 10x limit and stays out as an outlier.
  • Arthur Hayes, $150 by August 2026. The deadline has passed, so the target no longer applies to any horizon in the table.
  • Coinbase and Binance calculators. Both apply a fixed 5% yearly change to the current price. That is arithmetic, not a forecast.

No investment bank or major asset manager had published a numeric HYPE target as of October 2026, per crypto.news and CoinStats. Every figure in the table comes from crypto media or a statistical model.

Risks that break every scenario

Four risks sit outside the forecast models entirely:

  • Validator concentration. On 26 March 2025 Hyperliquid validators voted to delist JELLY perpetuals during a manipulation attempt and settled the market at $0.0095, far below the oracle price (CoinDesk). The move protected the HLP vault and showed how much discretion a small validator set holds.
  • Unlock data gaps. Reports on the size of contributor unlocks conflict, and Bitrue noted in October 2026 that published figures had not been reconciled.
  • Market structure. HYPE trades with high leverage on its own venue. A cascade of liquidations, like the October 2025 crash that wiped out $19 billion across crypto, hits the token and its fee base at the same time.
  • Regulation. Offshore perpetual venues face open questions in the US, and the change in congressional control resets the timeline for market-structure rules.

Each of these could push HYPE below the bear case, whatever buybacks do.

Questions people ask

Has HYPE reached $100?
Not yet. HYPE peaked at $97.96 on 23 September 2026, 2% short of $100. Three of the five forecasts we tracked place their 2027 average at $75 or above, and three of the four ranges place their 2027 high above $100.
Did Arthur Hayes's $150 HYPE target come true?
No. Hayes set $150 for August 2026 in March 2026. HYPE's highest price so far is $97.96, reached in September 2026.
Do banks publish HYPE price targets?
No investment bank or major asset manager had published a numeric HYPE target as of October 2026, according to crypto.news and CoinStats. Bitwise called the token mispriced in May 2026 without a figure.
How much HYPE is still locked?
CoinGecko counted 222.4 million HYPE in circulation out of a 1 billion maximum in October 2026. Contributor unlocks continue through October 2027.
