Today, July 17, 2018, after repeated delays, SBI Holdings has announced the opening of “common” trading on its crypto exchange VCRTRADE.
The crypto exchange started its work at the beginning of this year. But access to it was opened for very limited range of users. In fact, it was a test version of the crypto exchange, on which only one pair was traded, namely JPY/XRP.
In June 2018 SBI Holdings made another statement about the date of VCTRADE’s full-fledged work. Confirming the seriousness of their intentions, the company listed Bitcoin and BitcoinCash on the exchange.
After all the misadventures (hacking attack on the Japanese crypto exchange Coincheck, termination of cooperation with the Chinese Huobi Group) VCTRADE has opened its doors to the adult residents of Japan. SBI Holdings has not yet announced VCTRADE’s expansion to other jurisdictions.
